The Tang Soo Do Martial Way Association Standard Terminology

Reference to the following terms is indispensable for an understanding of promotion requirements, studio and class conduct, Korean culture, techniques and instructional commands. (Note: In syllables beginning with "G" the "G" is not affricated as in the English word "Giraffe", but is rather voiced as in the English word "Go". The "A" sound in Korean words resembles the "A" in the English word "Father" and not like in the English words "Apple" or "Anguish". At times a "K" will become voiced much like a "G" when it is at the beginning of a syllable in the middle or end of a word.)
